Stillwater has welcomed Jason Zimmerman as its new Community Development Director. Zimmerman, who grew up on the west side of the Twin Cities, is eager to embrace life in Stillwater and contribute to its future development.
“I work with a very enthusiastic and team-oriented group of people in City Hall,” Zimmerman said. “It’s been easy to step in and build on their positive thinking for the future of Stillwater.”
One of Zimmerman’s primary responsibilities is working on the Comprehensive Plan, which will guide Stillwater’s community and development efforts for the next 20 years. He is also committed to advancing projects initiated by his predecessors, ensuring continuity and progress in the city’s development initiatives.
Zimmerman’s appointment reflects Stillwater’s dedication to thoughtful and sustainable growth, aiming to balance the city’s rich history with modern development needs.
