Stillwater has recently welcomed Jason Zimmerman as its new Community Development Director. Zimmerman, who grew up on the west side of the Twin Cities, is enthusiastic about embracing life in Stillwater and contributing to its future development.
In his new role, Zimmerman is collaborating with city staff to update the Comprehensive Plan, which will guide Stillwater’s community and development efforts for the next two decades. He is also advancing projects initiated by his predecessors, aiming to foster meaningful growth within the city.
Zimmerman expressed his appreciation for the positive and team-oriented environment at City Hall, stating, “I work with a very enthusiastic and team-oriented group of people in City Hall. It’s been easy to step in and build on their positive thinking for the future of Stillwater.”
