Stillwater has welcomed Jason Zimmerman as its new Community Development Director. Zimmerman, who grew up on the west side of the Twin Cities, is enthusiastic about embracing life in Stillwater and contributing to its future development.
“I work with a very enthusiastic and team-oriented group of people in City Hall,” Zimmerman said. “It’s been easy to step in and build on their positive thinking for the future of Stillwater.”
One of Zimmerman’s primary responsibilities is overseeing the Comprehensive Plan, which will guide the city’s community and development efforts for the next two decades. He is also committed to advancing projects initiated by his predecessors, ensuring continuity and progress in Stillwater’s growth.
