Hi neighbors—Amelia Brown here. If you’re looking to stretch your dollars while supporting local, here are some deals & offers from Stillwater businesses that are too good to miss.
Food & Drink Specials
- The Grand Pizza is running carry-out & online specials by day: for example, two 14″ cheese pizzas for $20, or a 16″ cheese & appetizer combo—all perfect when you’re feeding the family or craving pizza.
- P.D. Pappy’s Music Bar & Grill offers daily happy hour specials from Tuesday through Friday (11 am-6 pm)—domestic beers and rail drinks around $4, plus discounted appetizers. There are also $3 off select burgers midweek, taco specials on Thursdays, and Sunday Sloppy Joes for under $10.
- MatchStick Restaurant & Spirits @ The Hotel Crosby has happy hour weekday deals (3-5 pm) that include drink and shared-plates specials. A great chance to sample something new without overspending.
Retail, Auto & Home Services
- Discount Tire on 60th St. N is offering instant savings and rebates on select tire & wheel brands—watch their promos for markdowns in the hundreds of dollars.
- DND Carpet, Rug & Sofa Cleaning has a 15% off special on upholstery cleaning. A good deal if you’ve been putting off a refresh for your furniture.
- Emerald Lawn & Landscaping Services Inc. also has a special offer—details when you reach out—but these local service deals often offer great value compared to hiring from further away.
Groceries & Everyday Savings
- At River Market Community Co-op, look for “Co-op Deals” on staples and rotating weekly “Fresh Deals” on produce, meat, and cheese. Also, the owner appreciation event and themed discount days happen regularly.
- The Fare For All program offers bulk produce packs, meat packs and combo deals at up to 40% off retail. Open to everyone—no registration required.
Tips for Getting the Best Deals
- Check online menus or business websites before heading out—timing & availability of deals may change.
- Use the ShopDowntown Stillwater discount card if you often shop downtown—it gives perks at many local stores.
- Combine offers when allowed—pairing a happy hour + appetizer deal often beats individual prices.
Saving isn’t just about the money—it’s about enjoying our community while keeping business local. If you hear about a great deal I missed (or run one yourself!), I’m all ears. Drop me a line so we can spread the word.
