I’m Amelia Brown, and this week on the Deals & Local Offers beat, I scouted some great savings around Stillwater you might want to know about. Whether you’re looking to refresh your jewelry collection, feed the family, or grab a drink with a twist—there’s something for everyone.
Marquess Studios Annual Sample Sale
One of the first deals you should know: Marquess Studios, known for its repurposed heirloom and custom statement jewelry, is holding its Annual Sample Sale at 305 Greeley St South #300. You’ll find earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and gift items discounted a substantial 40–80% off. The sale spans one evening and part of the next day with light bites and complimentary drinks—also a nice reason to peek in. The timing: Thursday from 4-8 pm, and Friday from 10 am-4 pm. Everything must go, so early arrival helps.
Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter: Happy Hour & Drink Perks
If you’re a fan of craft beer, German-style ambiance, or just a place to unwind after midweek, Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter has promos worth noting. From Wednesday through Friday, starting at 2 pm, the bar offers discounts on nearly all drinks. Accompanying that: free hard pretzels and mustard till 5 pm. Their Landshuterstube Spezial also kicks in every evening from 6:30 pm with drink specials and the bonus that if you show up wearing full Tracht-style dress, you’ll score 10% off food and beverages. Always a festive touch.
Grand Pizza Carryout & Meal Deals
Craving pizza? Grand Pizza downtown has rolled out daily specials to make family meals or easy weeknight dinners better. Some of their featured offers include: working days, two 14-inch cheese pizzas for $20; midweek, a 16-inch cheese pizza plus an appetizer for $20; and Saturday, pairing a 16-inch specialty pizza with fries for $26. Carryout or online ordering gives you access, so plan ahead.
Upholstery Cleaning & Lawn Service Discounts
For those tackling home maintenance projects, there are still money-saving options. DND Carpet, Rug & Sofa Cleaning is offering 15% off upholstery cleaning services. And Emerald Lawn & Landscaping Services has a special offer through CitySquares—great if you want fresh curb appeal without paying full price. Always check the fine print on service radius or scheduling fees.
Tips to Maximize Local Deals
- Many businesses only drop big savings during sample sales or special promos—mark your calendar so you don’t miss them.
- Check if discounts are limited-time or tied to certain hours (like happy hour) so you arrive at the right window.
- Ask if you have to show membership, wear something special, or finish a minimum purchase to unlock perks.
- Subset: when buying food deals, ordering carryout or ahead online often gives you priority or exclusive menu deals.
If you see a can’t-pass-up offer around town, send it my way—it helps keeping this column fresh. Until then, happy savings!
