New Restaurants
Río 1854
Located in the former Dock Cafe space, Río 1854 brings a Latin craft kitchen to the St. Croix Riverfront. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with fusion dishes inspired by Latin American cuisine. Menu highlights include chilaquiles, birria, arepas, fire-grilled filet mignon, Peruvian ceviche, and Mexican aguachile.
E’s Gourmet Sandwiches
At just 20 years old, Ethan Sorensen has opened E’s Gourmet Sandwiches at 221 Myrtle St. E. The menu features a variety of options, including hot chicken sandwiches, burgers, and cold-cut Italian clubs. Sorensen’s experience in the restaurant industry and mentorship from his aunt, chef Jamie Malone, have shaped this new addition to Stillwater’s dining scene.
El Sazon
Known for its refined Latin tasting dinners, El Sazon has expanded to Stillwater. The new location offers an elevated dining experience with a focus on Latin cuisine, building upon the success of its original Eagan location.
Food Trucks
Greater Tater
Specializing in jumbo stuffed, deep-fried potatoes, Greater Tater offers flavor combinations like Cheddar Bacon Chive, Reuben, and Breakfast Skillet. This food truck brings hearty and creative options to the streets of Stillwater.
Two Cups
Two Cups is a coffee and crepe food truck that emphasizes local, seasonal ingredients. Founded by friends Tara and Kevin, the truck aims to create a community space where people can connect over comforting food and coffee.
With these new additions, Stillwater’s dining landscape offers an array of options for residents and visitors alike. Whether you’re in the mood for a sit-down meal with river views or a quick bite from a food truck, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
