Stillwater has welcomed Jason Zimmerman as its new Community Development Director. Zimmerman, who grew up on the west side of the Twin Cities, is eager to embrace life in Stillwater and shape its future.
“I work with a very enthusiastic and team-oriented group of people in City Hall,” Zimmerman said. “It’s been easy to step in and build on their positive thinking for the future of Stillwater.”
Zimmerman is already working on the Comprehensive Plan that will guide Stillwater’s community and development efforts for the next 20 years. He is continuing to advance projects initiated by his predecessors, focusing on sustainable growth and community engagement.
Residents are encouraged to participate in upcoming public meetings and provide input on the Comprehensive Plan to ensure it reflects the community’s vision for the future.
