As we approach the end of May, Stillwater offers residents and visitors a couple of noteworthy events to mark on their calendars.
Veterans Memorial Day Ceremony
On Monday, May 25, the city will honor those who have served our country with the annual Veterans Memorial Day Ceremony. The event is scheduled to take place from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It’s a time for the community to come together and pay tribute to the sacrifices made by our veterans.
Dance Here Festival
Later in the week, on Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, the Dance Here Festival will be held. This event promises to be a vibrant celebration of dance, featuring performances from various local and regional artists. The festival will run from 3:00 PM on Friday until 11:00 PM on Saturday, offering ample opportunities for attendees to immerse themselves in the art of dance.
Both events provide a chance to engage with the community and participate in Stillwater’s rich cultural traditions. Whether you’re paying respects on Memorial Day or enjoying the artistic expressions at the Dance Here Festival, there’s something for everyone in the coming days.
