Stillwater has welcomed Jason Zimmerman as its new Community Development Director. Zimmerman, who grew up on the west side of the Twin Cities, is enthusiastic about contributing to the city’s future.
“I work with a very enthusiastic and team-oriented group of people in City Hall,” Zimmerman said. “It’s been easy to step in and build on their positive thinking for the future of Stillwater.”
Zimmerman is currently working on the Comprehensive Plan that will guide Stillwater’s development over the next two decades. He is also advancing projects initiated by his predecessors, focusing on enhancing housing, healthcare, and retail options along Manning Avenue.
These initiatives aim to accommodate the city’s growth while preserving its historic charm. Residents can expect updates on these developments as they progress.
